Unable to log into server

Hello; I get this message when I try to log into vmware server 2.0:

 

 

maxevans-pc is not setup to establish a connect to port 8333 using this machine

 

 

I have been using this port 8333 ever since I've installed the 2.0 version on my laptop. In searching for a clue, I did notice that I have no port 8333 by using netstat -an|find ":8333". I don't understand. What happened to port 8333? I checked and I've used all services, except VMware Host Agent: I can't get it to run, so I don't know if that contributes my problem. So, how do I create or re-create port 8333? Can I use any other available port?
