Scripted VM Creation

Hello,

I'm running the following:

$ vmware -v

VMware Server 2.0.0 build-122956

Is it possible to script the creation of Virtual Machines via vmware-vimsh or similar mechanism?

I've tried vmsvc/createdummyvm but this doesn't appear to actually do anything?

Any guidance, documentation or references would be greatly appreciated. I am keen to automate VM provisioning rather than using the Web UI or VIC.
