I recently built a new machine with an AMD X2 64bit 7850, M3N78-VM mobo, 4gigs of RAM, and 2x 1TB drives on a RAID 1. Base OS is a fresh Fedora 11 install with Vmware Server 2 (and vmware-server-modules-2629tar.gz patch).
The issue I am having is that for some reason, when I do large file transfers from my NAS to my Win2k3 VM, the VM will just die (as in power off) generally around the 40-50gig range. The host OS seems to stay stable and I am able to do 100+gig file transfers between the host OS without a problem.
Attached are a couple of log files I pulled. Any help/ideas are appreciated!
