VMWARE on CentOS 5.7

Hi there guys, i just got my server yeterday from datashack.net which is AMD Quad CPU.
Regarding this server,i tried installing VMWARE into the linux.
After that,everything was fine up until i wanted to install another  operating system which is windows server 2003/xp/2008 or anything.

But it seems that when it boots,the vmware server turned off,showing an error which is the picture that i have uploaded here.

I tried googling it seems that they say AMD overdrive or something i  don't really get it though,anyone know how to get around it?

I tried VMWARE server 1.0.9
i tried VMWARE workstation 8 still gives the same thing
I havent' tried VMWARe server 2.0 yet though,but i think it will show the same problem

help would be appreciated!
