Hi.
My system is a CentOS 5.5 and it has firefox 3.6.13.
I installed vmware server 2.0.2. When I try to access to the console of any of my virtual machines I get this message:
=============================================
"Cannot access virtual machine console. The request timed out.
The attempt to acquire a valid session ticket for "WinXP" took longer than expected. If this problem persists, contact your system administrator."
In this case, the name of the virtual machine is WinXP.
I have been looking up at google, and it seems that the remote console plugin is not supported for firefox 3.6. (http://communities.vmware.com/thread/252218?tstart=0).
=============================================
So, I should downgrade firefox to the 3.5 version.
But I don't know about linux and I have downloaded firefox 3.5 (firefox-3.5.16.tar.bz2) and I don't know how to downgrade it.
Do you know how to access the vmware server console in firefox 3.6 or do you know if there is any other kind of console instead of this plugin? Anyway, if you know how to downgrade from 3.6 to 3.5 in linux, I would appreciate it, although I would prefer not to downgrade it.
Thank you very much!
