Hi All

At the moment we have several old pc.s that have a specific application that runs full screen mode and is then outputted via the vga port to a LCD tv's. All in our call centre. Anwyay - I want to virtualise them to reduce the number of kit and allow me to create backups of the systems.

One idea i had was create virtual images of them, rum them all on a pc using vmware player, and use USB vga adapters. I then just select the USb device in question on each image running and they will then out the screen to the correct LCD. I then backup the vmware images just in case they fail.

BUT I was wondering, can I do this at all with vmware server 2. At least then I can use the virtual console to control virtual  machines instead of having to rdc onto the boxes.

Thoughts?

Scott
