Host with Intel Core i7

Hi all,

I'd want to buy a notebook with Intel Core i7 and I'd

want to use VMWare on Windows 7 as host and boot a linux SO as

guest. Is Core i7 a problem? Which type of processor would see linux SO

guest? There are some problem with mobile i7 core and some linux

kernel: would linux SO guest see still a i7 processor?
