Slow performance under heavy graphic load

Hi, all:

We've been using VMWare Server and VMWare Workstation for more than 6 years in our manual and automated testing procedure, and I'm a real fan of VMWare products, they're incredibly good and useful, and we couldn't have achieved the quality level that we currently have without VMWare, for sure.

Regarding automatic GUI tests, we use Test Complete, and we've always had the same problem: when trying to run tests in parallel in different virtual machines hosted in the same vmware server host, the tests fail, because the graphic controls of all the applications in the virtual machine are loaded noticeabily slower than if running a single virtual machine in the host. No matter the hardware resources of the host, or the resources of the virtual machine.

We've been monitoring the CPU usage, memory and disk and even we've give SSD disks a try in order to improve that, as we're really interested in running several GUI tests suites in parallel in the same vmware server host, but we didn't got any improvements...

So, my question is: is there some parameter in VMWare server to boost the graphic performance?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Luis
