This is a technical question regarding Vlan security on our Cloud offering. We are currently using ACL's on our force 10 switches to secure our Vlans. The goal of Vlan security, for us, is to keep our hosted clients from "browsing or seeing" the our other cloud clients' networks that we host. Doing ACL's on the switches works, but is really "clunky" and does not scale. We are exploring VMware's vShield Edge but we are wondering if there is a more cost effective solution. Is anyone having success with any other solutions or approaches to this problem?
