We are running a Dell R200 Server with Windows 2008 Server. We increased the physical RAM in the host server from 4Gb to 8Gb and even though Windows 2008 Server recognizes the increase, VMWare Server still thinks there is only 4Gb of RAM available. How can we force it to see that there is 8Gb of RAM available and/or is this a limitation of the software?
The only think we can think of to do is to reinstall the VMWare Server software.
Any ideas?
