Problem with 64-bit guest

I'm using VMware Server 2.0.2 Build 203138 on Windows 7 prof. 64-bit.

When I try to start a W2008 R2 64-bit guest I will get the following error from the Windows Boot Manager:

Info: Attempting to load a 64-bit application, however this CPU is not compatible with 64-bit mode.

So I run WMware-guest64check-6.0.0-45731.exe:

- VMware 64-bit Compatibility Check Passed

- This host is capable of running a 64-bit guest operating system under this vmware product.

Sysinfo says: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T7300 @ 2.00GHz

Memory 4 GB

So I'm a little bit confused about this.
