Okay, I want to have all my guest traffic managed by a virtual switch so that guest traffic is kept off the physical LAN unless absolutely necessary. But I also want the guests to be able to talk to each other, the host, as well as the machines attached to the physical network.
I know that i will need:
A guest with two network adapters, one virtual, and one bridged.
What I don't know:
Which vmnet module do I use (bridged, NAT, or host only) for the virtual side of the network?
How do I get the guest traffic to route through the virtual switch?
