Hey everyone, I am new to this so please excuse me for my idiocy but I ran into an issue.
We had a VM running that someone did not create a large enough disk space for. So I did the little trick with the vdiskmanager to expand out the hard drive to 20GB. I then mounted this drive as another drive on a completely different VM and now for some reason it will not open and it tells me that it cant be mounted as an IDE since its SCSI. The drive WAS originally a IDE drive before the conversion but even when I tell it to use SCSI I just get the blue screen of death and endless reboot and now I cant get that vmdk to open at all to finish the process of diskpart and extending the hard drive. Can someone tell me where things went wrong and how I might either finish the extension or how I can even get into the vmdk to get a file off it?
